What is Hydrotherapy for dogs?

Hydrotherapy for Dogs is a calm and effective therapy for dogs suffering from a range of medical conditions.

Dogs hydrotherapy is a low-risk rehabilitation method designed to strengthen muscles, re-train muscles and increase range of motion as well as offering many other benefits. As the water supports the dog’s body, impact on joints is minimal.  The water also provides a resistance for the dog’s muscles to work against, helping to build muscle. The warm temperature of the water helps to reduce pain.

Dogs enjoy exercising in this relaxed and quiet treatment area. Dawn Kinnear, owner and Qualified Small Animal Hydrotherapist, manages every dog’s hydrotherapy session ensuring each dog is comfortable and progressing with tailored objectives.
